CHARACTERISTICS OF DISK & COVER: (1)Virtually original 1st quality pressing (by Japan Victor Record Company,which was then well known as a pressing company of MFSL or Mobile  Fidelity Sound Laboratory) of  Mal Waldron "Spanish Bitch"; Long out-of-print; disk matrix numbers are SECM10002A1 111 TB/SECM10002B 111 (See below additional notes), (2) Maroon/silver Globe lettering original label, (3) Original gatefold cover  (designed by a Japanese artist K.Kubota; the cover inside features Mal's monochrome photo & track listing/ personnel), (4) Japanese critic commentary paper insert attached, (5) disk weight app. 140g;  cardboard gatefold cover weight app. 240g, (6) OBI missing

DISK CONDITION: VG++ (very lustrous and clean vinyl; a few faint spindle hole mark or two on each side label of clean nature; and according to playing test, only minimal background static noise or mini ticks in some places on each side)

JACKET CONDITION: VG+ (front & back cover art,although including some faint mini wear spots on the white area, are still in  great shape; faint & white mini stains dotted on the gatefold cover inside & especially its top area; some mini dents; seam wear & bottom seam split<app.10cm but inconspicuously repaired>)

JAPANESE CRITIC COMMENT PAPER INSERT CONDITION: VG+ ( mini crinkles dotted; mini stains dotted in places of both sides; faintly yellowish)

ANTISTATIC PLASTIC INNER SLEEVE CONDITION: VG+ (crinkly)

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Germany ECM planned & recorded the 2nd release "Spanish Bitch" of Mal Waldron (his ECM 1st release was "Free At Last" or 1969 recording with the same bassist Isla Eckinger)". But ECM seemingly didn't release "Spanish..." in the end(I think Mal's music didn't match the crystalline music concept of ECM). Instead, it was released exclusively by Japan Victor Record Company contracting with ECM at that time. Thus, this listed Japanese item was virtually original issue. Long out-of-print ultra rare item. Hard to find & get.The music, including melodic performances, is very punchy, funky,bluesy  and rhythmical jazz of Mal Waldron. If you like such kind of jazz, I think, this match your music taste. But don't imagine the music of Chick Corea's R.T.F. or Keith Jarrette etc. This is far from the essence of ECM music. I recommend this to Mal's fans.
