Narrated by Ed Brown. Lindsey Nelson, Bob Murphy and Ralph Kiner, the “voices” of the New York Mets. Theirs were the voices which fans heard when the Mets and the Giants played 9 hours and 50 minute, 32 inning, record breaking, double-header at Shea Stadium (1964). They described the tension of Jim Bunning’s perfect game (1964); the Mets 19-1 slugging of the Cubs (1964); and many more play by play recordings. Other great moments are presented in this album along with personal interviews with many Met players and special events at Shea Stadium, including , Opening Day, Casey’s Birthday and so much more. (Taken from the back of the jacket)
Original recordings; interviews with many of the Mets players, and action sequences of their outstanding performances at bat and on the field.
Album is VG to VG+ with a few light scuffs (not scratches) and occasional light surface noise. Jacket is VG+.
