One of the albums of 2014 picking up good reviews everywhere and blowing minds along the way .  Meatbodies are the new version of Chad and the Meatbodies , Chad being a sideman to Ty Segall and featuring on a fair number of his releases . He has certainly stepped into the light on this record which features 12 scorching tracks of psychedelic garage punk in the vein of Fuzz / Wand / Zig Zags and Thee Oh Sees only BETTER ( maybe ) . Ty Segall features heavily on this album as does Corey Hanson of the equally amazing Wand . There really is something happening in LA right now .
