SAMHAIN - November Coming Fire     1st PRESSING

rare 1st pressing, with insert.  Damage to top edge of sleeve, black vinyl is near mint. 

There is an interesting history to this copy.   In 1986 I was running a low-end

metal fanzine, and I was doing an interview with the swiss black/death metal

band CELTIC FROST.   The band and I were in a local record store (Rhymes

Records, New Haven CT!) and I asked the band for some suggestions on new 

music.  Martin Ain of Celtic Frost grabbed THIS COPY out of the record bin,

handed it to me, and said "THIS is the sickest, blackest fooking thing EVER, 

you must get this."  And I did.  It has been in my collection ever since.  I am 

only willing to sell this for a high price, and I am starting the price well above 

what these typically sell for.  Either I get a high price, or I keep it. Simple.

Some of the records up for auction this week have damage to the top of the sleeve.  Someone (who will remain nameless) decided that it would be a good idea to let a cat into the storage area.  I suppose when there is no furniture to scratch, a box of records will do.  Some have very slight damage, some significant.  All are described in both words and photos.  The vinyl is untouched. If you have any questions please ask.

Some of the records look dusty in the photos; they have all been cleaned with a Discwasher brush and solution, some were cleaned after the photo was snapped.

Additionally these were stored in a house where there was smoke, in case you are sensitive to that.

I have not played these records in MANY years, and cannot recall if there were any crackles, pops, or skips.  I have noted the overall look of the vinyl in the description.

SHIPPING:  I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING WHENEVER POSSIBLE.  I AM NOT OUT TO MAKE MONEY ON SHIPPING – I AM ALSO NOT LOOKING TO LOSE MONEY.  WHEN I HAVE TO PURCHASE A SPECIAL MAILING BOX OR ENVELOPE, THAT COST IS ADDED IN AS A HANDLING CHARGE.  MY TIME, LABOR, AND GAS BACK AND FORTH TO THE POST OFFICE IS INCLUDED AT NO CHARGE! 

USPS PRIORITY MAIL FLAT RATE IS USUALLY MY PREFERRED OPTION BECAUSE THE PACKAGING IS FREE AND TRACKING IS INCLUDED.   FLAT RATE ENVELOPE AT $5.60 IS CHEAPER THAN $4.00 PARCEL POST PLUS $2 or $3 FOR A BOX.  Also, eBay shipping calculator is NEVER accurate so I try to use flat rate whenever possible. 

FOR RECORDS: A single LP is $4.00 flat rate in a specialty cardboard mailer. For each additional LP, add $1.00.  Up to four LPs will fit in a mailer (typically). A 2 LP set still counts as $1.00 extra.

INSURANCE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ITEMS.  THIS WILL NOT LIKELY APPEAR ON THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR – PLEASE WAIT TO BE INVOICED!!  ADDITIONALLY, SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION IS REQUIRED AS PER PAYPAY SELLER PROTECTION PROGRAM.  THIS $2.70 CHARGE (USA ONLY) WILL ALSO NOT APPEAR IN THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR – PLEASE WAIT TO BE INVOICED!
