This band it seems came out of nowhere and vanished, but left a little heritage behind. Now I have no idea where this can be bought as I searched for this for weeks only to find it in mp3 format, and what did I find out? Holy hell, this album rocks as hard as any W.A.S.P., Metal Church, Iron Maiden, Satan, Tank, Saxon, or whatever band can. It cannot be described by words really well, but let's just say it's one of the best albums of heavy metal ever made, and I'm not exaggerating. This is really something!

The album shoots out with the coolest song here with Turn Up The Power. It's a fun and fast number about playing heavy metal and playing it loud. Some tasty solos are included with a great vocal performance. Urban Commandos is a short song with some really killer riffs, especially the first one which drags through the entire song. The chorus rules, too. And so we come to the best song on this album, March Of Kings. It starts with a bass/keyboard solo and then it gets HEAVY. The first riff is excellent, heavy, and pounding, and is a thing every doom metal band would be proud of. The bass is also perfect in the mix and, of course, the vocals give a little extra to the creepy and haunting atmosphere. All in all, a dark and heavy song and perhaps my favorite heavy metal song ever.

Defcon 1 is an intro to Thermonuclear Warrior, which is another highlight of the album. It's a marching number with great drumming and probably the best riffs around. Rolling Thunder is more a rock 'n roll thing and yet again perfect. The chorus is absolutely amazing, followed by more great fucking riffing. It does rule. The song Wild is what you'd expect - speed metal. Fast, catchy, fun. School's Out is an Alice Cooper cover, which is excellent.

The last two songs are probably the most curious ones as they don't get in the ear that fast, but they are filled with great riffs and a '70s groove. Different, but fun. Tryst is a bit more heavy metallish with some great bass/guitar solos and riffs, and is an unusual number and is very interesting.

I have no idea where this band came from, but they left a very strong mark on me. This is pure heavy metal, a welcome record in every metalhead's collection.
