Here is an early example of Joe Meek's career as a recording engineer, so it is a bit of 'pop' history. It is a 1957 recording of Jazz pianist Dave Lee with his trio with Lennie Bush on bass and Alan Ganley on Drums. The tracks are: 'Excuse for the blues; 'On the Alamo'; 'Must have that man' and 'Salt air'. The piano playing is excellent throughout from a man that didn't get the credit he deserved.
Using the conventional grading system,  I would grade the record as 'very good'. It has obviously been played and there are one or two light surface marks and there is some surface noise, particularly on, 'On the Alamo'. But,the disc plays well without any skips or pops and would probably benefit from a 'professional' clean. As the photos show, the cover is in the 'good+' category.
