This is a rare original near mint copy of the first solo album recorded by Steely Dan co founder, Donald Fagen, entitled Nightfly, released by Warner Brother Records in 1982, on rare Quiex virgin vinyl which is translucent in that light passes through vinyl surface. These Quiex pressings are high quality and rare and were never issued as commercial pressings, only to radio stations for over the air play. The original inner sleeve with printed lyrics is also included. I have owned not just this version but also MFSL version and this copy plays every bit as well. 

 As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP is in beautiful near mint condition. The LP was play graded using headphones and plays beautifully quiet. The cover is in very good condition. The corners on all sides are very slightly worn. The top seam and bottom seams are strong with no splits on either seam. The spine is strong as well with the product information clearly readable. The front cover is in very nice condition with sharp image. There are few creases and loss of image in few spots along spine. There is also slight ring wear. There is also some front cover wear under the artist's first name on top front cover

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold is returned sealed .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical or unreasonable manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
