Buyer pays shipping. Shipping is by Canada Post unless alternate arrangements are made. To view shipping options and their costs, click the "Shipping and payments" tab on this page. I am happy to provide combined shipping on items purchased within 2-3 days of each other. Don't hesitate to if you need a couple of days more. MULTIPLE PURCHASES: Do Not use check out when buying more than one item. Navigate around the screen until you find the link that lets you leave the page without having to make payment (upper left corner?). Please wait for me to send combined invoice as the combined shipping tool may not calculate correctly for the combination of items or the shipping rate may change due to increased weight or package size. None of the items in my listings are pre-packaged. This makes it easier to answer questions about an item or shipping and I can quickly let you know what items will fit inside package for the same shipping OR provide an accurate quote if the weight of combined items raises the shipping cost.
Canada Post was one of the first postal services to apply a method called "Density Factor" on traceable packages and parcels. Density Factor is a fancy way of saying that the weight PLUS the box size determine the shipping rate. Put simply, two boxes that are a different size but have the same weight and travel route (A-B) can have a different shipping charge. The larger box takes up more space (density) during transit and will cost more. When gas got expensive, Canada Post was also one of the first to put a gas surcharge in addition to their shipping fee. These are but two of the reasons why I often customize a box for shipping. There are times when shaving as little as half an inch off a box can save a couple of dollars on shipping. Bottom Line: Helping you save cost on shipping whenever and wherever it's possible. Please Note: I DO NOT PARTICIPATE in the GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM or sending packages to a distribution centre. It has come to my attention the Global Shipping Program often fails to respect the duty on Allowable Limits of a country' laws and winds up overcharging the Buyer .... And also charges the Buyer separately without the Seller's or the Buyer's knowledge (Buyer gets hit with 2 shipping fees). Lots of people seem to have signed up to that program without reading between the lines or getting through the fine print.
