It is an absolute bible of all things Motown, chock-full of hits and behind the scenes interviews with the people who made them.
If you are looking for an introduction into the hit-filled world of Tamla Motown, or the Northern Soul scene that it fueled in the UK, then this is the ideal starting place. It's full of classic stompers!
The 5x lps are in VG+ condition with just a few minor marks, and the box is in VG condition. Just a few minor scuffs on the box itself, and three of the corners of the lid are intact - one has split, but it has not been taped up (see pic) like many examples you will see on ebay and is holding together pretty well considering it was released in 1970!
The sound reproduction is very good, all the hits sound great and the interviews are fascinating
