VERY RARE vinyl album by Evangelist Estus W. Pirkle.
Vinyl is in AMAZING condition! Still has a nice shine to it - Very minimal signs of handling - Very clean sound. I'd say this is a high EXC+  or a NM- (Near Mint minus). Cover is in NM condition. Still in original shrink wrap! Amazing to find this in such great condition!

Estus Pirkle is the evangelist that the experimental band NEGATIVLAND used samples from for their "Christianity Is Stupid" song, some of which are found on this "If Footmen..." sermon LP. From Wikipedia: "Christianity Is Stupid" is a song from Negativland's 1987 concept album, Escape from Noise. In the song, Negativland rearranges words and phrases to form a different meaning. They sampled phrases from a 1971 sermon by Rev. Estus Pirkle (from his film If Footmen Tire You, What Will Horses Do?). Pirkle's narrative included an imagined visit to the U.S. under Communism where public loudspeakers constantly proclaim "Christianity is stupid! Communism is good! Give up!" These phrases were taken out of context and mixed with appropriately march-like heavy metal music and various other sound effects. In 2004, the song was made into a video entitled "The Mashin' of the Christ" that sampled many Jesus Christ-topic films and footage from Marxist-Leninist countries.
