Here we have an ultra rare original first pressing copy of the 1970 prog rock band Fotheringay album simply titled 'Fotheringay'. As can be seen the vinyl LP has the pink label with the white I (for Island Records) and is ILPS9125 with no rips or writing on the pink label at all.
The gatefold sleeve does show its age with worn edges and corners and also some damage near the face of the Sandy Denny caricature. The album plays reasonably well with no jumps or skips. There is some surface crackle as might be expected with an album of this age so its not perfect. I don't think this one was originally mine as it would have been cared for a bit better, however, here it is and it may be an album that would be a nice addition to someone's collection.
I am going to sell a few of my albums which will be 1960's and 1970's rock music mostly with the odd 1980's one but not too many so do have a look at the other LP's we have selected to put on E Bay.
Postage is for the UK mainland only, postage anywhere else including the IOM will cost more. Any questions please ask.
