Jesus' Welcome To My Dream has earned a cult reputation as one of the pioneering works of hip-hop, funk and jazz fusion. From U2 sampling the track "The City Sleeps" for Zooropa; to director Tarsem Singh using "Falling Elevator's" in his famous 1996 Levi's commercial; Welcome To My Dream is a sonic playground that's finally giving it's fans the opportunity to be experienced on vinyl. Born in Dallas, Texas, MC 900 Ft Jesus (aka Mark Griffin) is a trumpeter, keyboard player, vocalist, programmer, and songwriter. Over the course of three albums released between 1989 and 1994, Griffin redefined 90's fusion by incorporating hip hop, electronic, industrial, noise, jazz, funk, soul, and street poetry. Thematically his lyrics typically explored the realms of the mind, the darker side of humanity, the supernatural and the surreal.
