I have played & checked both sides of the record on high quality Hi Fi equipment using a Shure cartridge with a new stylus. There is some slightly discernible surface noise but this doesn't detract from the listening experience. I consider the sound to be very good well defined with good stereo imaging. I have graded the record using 'The Record Collectors' grading system. If in the unlikely event that you are not totally satisfied with the record please contact me so the situation can be satisfactorily resolved.

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.Excellent (EX)The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.Very Good (VG)The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptableGood (G)Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etcFair (F)The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.Poor (P)The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missingBad (B)The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

I have rechecked the matrix numbers of the album & have found that I have made a mistake in the listing, it's not a 1st Issue but a repress. This is better/different than a reissue & probably happened because of the success of 'Ziggy Stardust' when awareness of David Bowie increased & demand for his previous albums outstripped existing stocks.
