if you are looking at this, I think you probably know what this is, but I'll give a description anyway. this is a seven-inch vinyl single of The Black Crowes hit "Remedy," followed immediately by the rarity "Darling Of The Underground Press." the other side has a cool etched image of what was essentially the band's trademark picture for that era. the rare song is the song I figure Rich Robinson had in mind when he made sure new hire Marc Ford knew how to play slide guitar. he didn't, lied by saying he did, got the job and quickly learned to slaughter and slay with a slide. he sure didn't/doesn't suck at it. the band was young, stoned and musically on fire at this point of their careers. it features Chris Robinson singing, Rich and Marc on guitars, Charles "Johnny Colt" Brandt on bass, Steve Gorman on drums and Ed Harsch on keyboards. you want this rare record.
this thing was made in the UK in 1992. I bought it as an import in the USA around 1993. I've played it a few times, but it mostly sat upright in storage with the rest of my vinyl collection, awaiting the next soon-to-break record player. it's clean and played well when I last gave it a spin. it is worthy of being played or framed. the etched side looks really cool in different lighting. take a good look at the pictures, as they are not stock images -- they show your exact item. you can feel confident bidding on this thing, as it is quite nice. if you have any questions at all, please ask.
be well, stay smiling and have fun bidding!
