Alceo Galliera Conducting The Philharmonia Orchestra  .  1960 Blue/Silver Stereo Pressing on the Columbia Records Label - SAX 2346 - Matrix - YAX 449-1 & YAX 450-14. Vinyl - Vg+  - The record looks little played and the surface still has a lovely sheen, there is however a hairline visible on side 2.  It plays with a lovely Deep Rich Stereo sound. On side 1 there is a light click near the start of the side that lasts 10 secs or so, also 3 or 4 louder clicks/pops were heard on a couple of occasions nearer the middle of the side, On side 2  clicks/pops were heard on a couple of occasions and also some small ticks/light crackle was also heard in places. I find clicks/ticks and occasional pops are common on pressings of this age. Sleeve - VG+ - Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured which has some age related wear, some edge wear and slight dis-colouring etc, also laminate starting to peel along front opening edge, although nothing too major as can be seen in the pics. Very Good: The record displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
