Vinyl LP. Basement has a swaggering confidence of a veteran band in it's rock, even if the lyrics stray more emo. That presence is an impressive feat considering this is their 2011 debut album "I Wish I Could Stay Here." There is an unintentional irony in the title, given that the band would break up in just a couple years. Yet, "I Wish I Could Stay Here" finds them still hungry and at the zenith of their game. Basement rocks hard with a heavy focus on their grunge musicality. A post-punk grunge sound dominates with killer dual guitars. The songs "Fade" and "Earl Grey" are two of the biggest crowd pleasers here. This is the original vinyl LP pressing.
