This time K-Tel has reissued The Litter's 1968 offering. The band is more polished and relies less on covers, though the ones they pick are a little more obscure than on the previous record: "Tallyman" (Jeff Beck), "Here I Go Again" (Small Faces), and "Kaleidoscope" (Procol Harum). The rest of the band's story is played out in the liner notes which also carry a detailed, two-page spread explaining how the phase-shifting effect was achieved on "Kaleidoscope." The album also includes one bonus track. Like the Distortion reissue, this one is also worth looking for. ~ Jim Worbois
