  Hawkwind are an English rock band, one of the earliest space rock groups. Their lyrics favour urban and science fiction themes. Formed in November 1969, Hawkwind have gone through many incarnations and styles of music. Dozens of musicians, dancers and writers have worked with the group since their inception.

  This is an original first issue double album set from Hawkwind and comes in a foldout, Poster style, card sleeve and includes original LP inner sleeves.

  All four record labels are in stunning Mint Minus as new condition.

 

  The LPs play through all tracks without faults, a beautiful clear sound quality.

  The Matrix’s, side1, UAD 60037 A-2 U, and side2, UAD 60037 B-2 U.

  Side 1 stampers, 1 G R, and Side 2, 1 A

  The Matrix’s side 3, UAD 60038 A-2 U, side 4, UAD 60038 B-2 U.

  Side 3 stampers, 1 A H, and Side 4, 2 RT.

  The word RAYS is etched into the run-out groove on side 1.

  All four sides of the beautiful vinyl LPs are in immaculate Mint condition,  super clean, glossy well cared for vinyl surfaces to all four sides.

 

  The LPs come in their original and very colorful inner sleeves which are in Excellent condition, one bag has a seam split across the bottom, and are housed in their original and beautiful undamaged, foldout Poster Style Picture Sleeve with original price sticker on the front, which is in beautiful Excellent Plus condition, this sleeve is a really nice example, there are no tears or damage to any part.

 

  This is a beautiful and complete example of an original first issue Hawkwind album.
