FIRST ‘-1’ matrix’s, and **WITH** Sold in UK label text, and Mfd in U.K.on both record labels, with original Black Inner Bag.

 

  This album was released as the Soundtrack album for the cartoon film ‘Yellow Submarine’although does not include some of the tracks that were featured in the film. Yellow Submarine spent just two weeks at the No 3 position,  at the same time The Beatles White Album was still at No 1.

  Album Description and Condition:

  This album was released on the 17th January 1969, and is on the traditional Green & White Half Apple Labels with the ‘Apple Records’ label rim, with ‘Mfd in UK’ and WITH ‘Sold in UK….’ label text to both record labels.

  Both record labels are in superb undamaged Excellent Plus condition, both record labels are unfaded with all printed text clearly legible, with just signs of a few plays around the the centre of each record label .

 

  Both sides of the glossy, heavyweight vinyl LP are in superb Excellent Plus Plus condition, glossy, clean and undamaged vinyl surfaces to both sides, with nothing more than just a couple of light surface hairlines visible, there are absolutely no deep scratches or scuffs.

 

  The LP plays with a splendid sound quality throughout all the tracks – a clear sound quality from this LP with just light background sounding on side 2.

  Side 1 matrix’s are, XEX 715-1, and Side 2, XEX 716-1.

 

  Side 1 stampers are, 2 R A and Side 2, 3 R D

  The LP comes in its original Matt Black Die Cut inner bag which has a 3” split to one seam, and housed in it’s original front laminated, three flip-back picture sleeve, with two Horizontal red lines either side of the sleeve notes on the reverse panel.

 

  The front panel of the sleeve very is in very nice Excellent Plus condition, and still retains its deep gloss shine, with just mild LP storage signs, and a few lamination pinches near to the spine edge.

 

  The reverse panel of the sleeve is very clean and white with just mild handling signs to the opening edge, there are no seam splits and the spine edge wording clearly printed and reads ‘The Beatles Yellow Submarine’ This sleeve has no makers name which is usually printed on the bottom flip-back of the sleeve.
