In the early sixties Pye International had the distribution
rights for Chess and Checker labels in the UK. They seemed to use better,
shinier vinyl than normal labels and their pressings always had a better frequency range than other labels. I am listing a range of Pye International
R&B records that I bought new, but have not played for 50 years. All primo
condition, all play great and sound as good as they did new. All have been
cleaned on a VPI 16.5 cleaning system.
