  Considered to be one of most Influential and Iconic Albums of the 20th Century, this is an original 1968 UK Apple Records mono, two vinyl LP Set for The Beatles 1968 White Album Release, entitled ‘The BEATLES’.

  This is a really superb example, and has a top opening, Gate-fold Sleeve with No.0306668, and with, two original UK first issue stereo LP's, Four original Full Colour glossy photographs – one of each Beatles, an original Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric Poster  printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, two original 1968 Black inner record bags. The set is housed within its original First Issue, Fully Laminated top opening numbered Gate-fold Sleeve.

    The two First Issue mono Vinyl LP's are on the traditional Dark Green Apple label, all with the ‘Sold in UK label text, with ‘Mfd. In UK’ label text to all four record labels.

  All four record labels in beautiful Near Mint condition, clean and undamaged record labels with vivid Black Print, showing a few play signs around the centre spindle holes.

    All four sides of the vinyl LP's grade as superb Near Mint condition, both LP’s are super clean and bright without any scratches and show only a couple of insignificant hairlines, both LP's have clearly been well cared for.

    Having  played both LP's, all four sides play with beautiful sound quality through all tracks.

  Each LP come in their original Matt  Black Die Cut Inner Bags which are in Excellent condition, the bags do have some light inevitable creasing.

 

  And are housed in their superb, firm, clean and white  Excellent Plus Garrod and Lofthouse Gate-fold Sleeve. This is a first issue stereo printed top opening and numbered 0306668 printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. The wording ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed and printed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal Black and White Images of each Beatles, together with the song track listing.

  The front panel of this sleeve is clean and bright and white with just a little age toning near to the spine edge, and mild LP indentation, the stamped number and Embossed The BEATLES are perfect .

 

  The inner gate-fold centre of the sleeve is in perfect Near Mint condition.

 

  The reverse panel of the sleeve shows light age toning near to the spine edge and a couple of small rub marks, the Stereo wording is clear.

 

  There are Four original 1968 original Full Rich and Deep Glossy Colour Photographs – one of each Beatles, - All four Photographs are in beautiful Near Mint condition, NO pin holes, NO tears or creases.

 

  And includes its original 1968, Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric/Picture Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse which is in undamaged Excellent Plus condition, the poster is superb, with no pin holes or tears.
