I was 20 in 1972, and living in England, going to university and enjoying all the amazing music that was being produced at this time.  I mentioned in another listing that we were freaking spoiled rotten, and we continued to be as artists produced more and more really good stuff! We had so much to choose from, and when Bowie made this album, I thought nothing could top Hunky Dory. But with this one he continued to show us that he was an absolute force to be reckoned with-inventively precocious, a musical genius and not afraid to be very different in an atmosphere of competitive people trying desperately to be different. Bowie just did it naturally, he was the ultimate chameleon changing effortlessly with the way that his own personal winds blew.  I of course fell in love with this one, and 44 years later, I can still remember most of the lyrics from this album when I play it on iTunes or an internet radio station happens to get brave and play Five Years" or "Rock n' Roll Suicide".   I was good to my albums, they cost too much to replace, and was a little selfish about lending them out....control freak that I am. So I can tell you that this album is in great condition for its age. Cover, lyrics, envelope and vinyl are all in exceptional condition. OK, here are the pertinent details:

The cover is in excellent condition, very slight ring wear, no tears or rips. The spine is readable, no issues. As you may have noticed, the inner sleeve has WRITING, IN RED, IN  ITALIAN! The story, a very jealous boyfriend when I lived in Toronto, who happened to be Sicilian decided that defacing my Bowie album with a ludicrous declaration of intent was the way to win my heart. Not so. I was mad as hell, and he is an age gone! Other than this, the lyric sleeve is in good condition, some corner creases but no tears.  Both sides of the vinyl are in great condition, there is really not much to mar the condition, a couple of surface smudges and a short scratch on B, not deep.  On the matrix are the stamped 1 and 2E's and an etched BIAO on A.   I can't give you a play by  play, my turntable is out of commission, but I am confident that the vinyl will play beautifully.  Thanks for reading my long description, these albums are memories of my young adulthood, and history, hopefully they become part of your history too.

If there is an original box, and instructions, you will get them, if not, I’ll pack with extra care. I HATE receiving a package that has not been shipped properly, not knowing whether the item inside is still in one piece or not. So I won’t do that to you.

For albums, I will mail in a white album mailing box, strengthened, bubble wrapped, album out of the covers and secure enough that it won't move.

All my items will be shipped free shipping.  I will try to get it shipped to you within TWO days of receiving the payment. If the payment is above $100.00, I will insure the item/album and ask for signature on delivery.
