In the early sixties Pye International had the distribution
rights for Chess and Checker labels in the UK. They seemed to use better,
shinier vinyl than normal labels and their pressings always had a better frequency range than other labels.
Bought new, but has not been played for 50 years. Primo
condition, Plays loud and strong - sounds like new. Will be cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 cleaning system before shipping.
