Matrix SHVL 804 A-2 and B2
As you can see from the photos previous owners felt a need to claim ownership by writing their names on the prism in the gatefold, the centre label and in the openings to the sleeves. Those were the days when you didn't want your copy to go astray at parties when 10 other folk had brought their copy!
It looks well loved would be the generous view.
The Sleeve itself has wear and scuffs. It is the matt blue/black sleeve. There is also evidence of a label being removed I believe.
The inner sleeve is original but has lost the polythene.
The vinyl shows signs of wear and there are clicks at the start of Breathe... and a stick at the beginning of Brain Damage. I have played it on a LP12 Linns system and dynamics are strong and punchy as you would expect from a 1st press. I enjoyed the listening experience despite the 2 flaws noted above.
I am a private collector and digger. Occasionally I find a gem and sell on ebay and this is one. I will use the reward to purchase some jazz records.
