This 1989 release features the fine composing skills of jazz pianist Claude Bolling, with  flutist Elena Duran and the Laurie Holloway Trio taking on two of Bolling's compositions.

Side 1 is entitled CALIFORNIA SUITE, with selections CALIFORNIA, HANNAH, BEVERLY HILLS, LOVE THEME and BLACK FOLKS, among others. Side 2 is Bolling's very fine SUITE FOR FLUTE AND JAZZ PIANO, just as he did with Rampal years prior but this time with Duran delivering the fine duet on flute.

Cover is without fault, near crisp; record is near mint.

Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
