An original 1983 pressing of Blue Monday by New Order.
The matrix reads FACT 73 A2 STRAWBERRY THE ROBOT
This has the die cut cover with glossy inner sleeve made to represent a floppy disc, this famously cost so much to make that the single lost 5p on every copy sold.
This went on to become the biggest selling 12” single of all time and without a doubt one of the most influential electronic tracks ever made.
The record is showing some marks to the surface, the record still plays well with the odd crackle. It would benefit from a good clean with the right equipment as it has been stored for many years.
The cover is showing signs of wear to the edges and corners.
