This is a pretty rare item and extremely hard to find for a collector that wants the true full package.
This is an album made exclusively for Pontiac dealers back in 1965. I have the original letter that gives this its provenance and the letter is dated December 7th 1965.
The album contains the sound track of the Pontiac Sponsored "Salute to Cole Porter" on the NBC Network TODAY television show.
Cole Porter died in 1964 so this was made as a tribute to his songs and very limited.
The record album is still sealed in its original wrap. It does have a tiny hole in the wrap on one side and also a tiny slit in the wrap on the edge. It looks like some dust got inside the wrap in a couple of spots but otherwise the album cover looks fine. See photos.
The letter and the original cardboard this item was packaged in will be sent so you have exactly the same way that very few people received this back in 1965.
I do not know how many of these were made but I am guessing not a whole lot.
