Review: It really comes close to a revelation, the obscure Roosevelt Wardell’s only album as a leader, The Revelation. Wardell's only album as leader was The Revelation, for in October 1960. The session was arranged for him by saxophonist and man , who had heard him playing. This was a trio recording, with on bass and on drums, and featured standards and three originals from Wardell.
