MINT: Usually reserved for sealed LPs or unplayed stock.

NM (Near Mint) : Like new, should have no audible or visual imperfections

EX or VG++ (Excellent): Minor visual imperfections like a single light surface mark or blemish, but should still play like new

VG+ (Very Good Plus) : Light marks will be present. Average condition, used but not abused; should play well with little to no noise

VG (Very Good) : Marks, light groove wear, light scratches may all be present. Surface noise may be present but should not be distracting or overpower the music

VG- (Very Good Minus) : Significant marking, scratches, groove wear will be present, as will crackle and pops. Will play through but expect it to have some noise

G (Good) : Heavy wear, dull surface, as many scratches as grooves, very noisy. Has to be exceptionally rare to be offered in this condition.
