This jacket is one of several designs created for what eventually became the compilation album: Hey Jude. The art department submitted at least three documented designs that evolved in style and name to become the album that bridged Abbey Road and Let It Be. This item is a mockup of what the first of these alternate album jacket designs would have looked and felt like had it been actually released. This album is intended to remain sealed.*
1. Constructed like the originals (i.e. two slicks pasted over a blank jacket)!
2. Writing on the spine just like the original!
3. Shipped in a box designed specifically for albums. Sandwiched between two cardboard filler pads.
*The vinyl inside is not a Beatles record. This display item is meant to remain sealed. The purpose of this item is to provide the buyer the experience of having a sealed Butcher Cover without having to pay the price of a real one. Please do not break the seal and then ask for a refund because you did not read the item description!
