Cro-mags - Age Of Quarrel 10". 1st Pressing. 1991. Green Ink (lmtd 1500). N.Y.H.C. Hardcore Punk RARE. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
The 1st pressing of this 'bootleg" of the 1985 Cro-mags demo was released by the band and was limited to 1500 copies. It has green ink used for the titles on the front and back of the cover. There are 2 number slots but the first is left blank. (_/1500) All versions with red ink used on the cover are later pressings, which may or may not be band authorized, depending on the version. This particular copy was purchased from the merch table at a Cro-mags show in the early 90's.
The record looks a bit scuffed up. There are a lot of light scratches and smudges visible on side 1 and also some on side 2. They mostly look light, but there are a lot of them, and there is one short one (about a quarter inch) that looks potentially more than light. There probably isn't anything bad enough to cause a skip or ruin the listening experience, but there are likely some pops and clicks audible here and there, and perhaps a bit of surface noise. It's difficult to say since I have no way to play test my records. I do accept returns if a buyer is unhappy with a records condition upon receiving it. I can't grade it better than G++ because it looks scuffed up, but it likely plays closer to VG.
No insert was included except for a plain white dust sleeve with no hole in the center. It has some ripples in it as if it was at one time exposed to some moisture. It can of course be easily replaced. There is a flyer for some early 90's shows, and a sticker inside. I'm not sure if they were in it when I bought it or if I put them there. It was a long time ago.
The cover is in great shape with no creases, bends, veins, rips or stains....AT ALL! It is made of an unusual (for record covers) type of cardboard that seems to hold up well over time. The 4 corners and the 3 edges all have only Light wear. VG++
Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light, Light, Moderate, Severe, Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
******************PANDEMIC DELIVERY INFORMATION********************** At this time media mail going to NY, NJ and surrounding areas can take as long as 5 to 6 weeks to be delivered. USPS in those areas is under-staffed and overwhelmed, and media mail is their lowest priority. I have no control over this. If you live in those areas I recommend using Priority mail unless you are prepared to be patient.
