Available here is a wonderful, rare 10" LP, in tremendous condition:
"Songs to Grow on For Mother and Child", composed and sung by the legendary Woody Guthrie, recorded in 1947.  Released in 1956 on Folkways Records (FC 7015). 
About this unique LP:
Songs to Grow on for Mother and Child is a collection of children's music by folk singer Woody Guthrie. The LP was recorded in 1947 and first released in 1956 as a 10" disc by Folkways Records. 

Several songs in the collection are instructional, helping children learn to count. Others are songs of adoration written by Guthrie with his own children in mind. For example, "Goodnight Little Arlo" was written for his son Arlo Guthrie, who was born in 1947, the same year the album was recorded. Guthrie said: "I really did try to slant these songs at all of your citizens from 4 to 6, but I spilled over a little on every side".

There are 13 tracks in all, and a booklet is also included, which has the song lyrics and some whimsical illustrations by Woody Guthrie. See photos for full track listing.

This LP is in VG++ condition, it's hard to see any marks at all on either side, no scratches and only a bit of handling smudging. The glossy cover is also in great shape, shiny and no seam splits. The booklet (shows copyright date of 1956 on first page, upper left corner) is clean with some minor wrinkling along the bottom. Both labels are in great shape, clean and complete.
