We need to inform all customers that due to the changes in health and safety standards there are delays in shipping all over the country and this can impact an item at any point in the travel process. This impacts both USA and International shipments. Please note that this means that all typical shipping time lines may change and may be delayed. Throughout this entire process we have only seen items take 4 to 6 weeks max even with the global shipping program. The delays can mean that your item tracking number will show a pause with no updates. This is very common. Please be patient. If you really want to ensure your item has no major delays please choose a shipping option with Priority or Express. Yes they are much more expensive, but choosing the cheapest options mean that your package will have the lowest priority within USPS. Thank you for your business and your understanding. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase! You may request shipping to the lower priced standard/media mail, but we urge you to understand that then you assume all responsibility for value lost with USPS delays and/or damages to your item. If you pay for priority, we will ship via priority. If you choose the lower standard of shipping then that is the chance you are willing to take and once the package is in USPS hands it is no longer our responsibility. Priority includes $50 insurance automatically and if you request it, we could add more insurance for higher valued items. We may even decide that an item is far too valuable and choose not to sell it if you refuse to pay priority. When an item is lost or damaged by USPS we do not get covered for the cost via standard/media mail and if we refund you it is out of our small business. These are challenging times for many and while we need to rely on all avenues to remain in business with customers we have to take steps to insure against too many losses. Although it is not all doom and gloom and most items shipped via media mail and standard delivery do arrive in great shape we need to be clear that in the cases that it does not we will not be held liable for what we advised against. We are not a corporation with covered costs for these types of situations. We are a small brick and mortar store that counts on all profits to remain in business. There are 4 of us.
