Original US pressing of Buddy Holly "The Chirping Crickets", 1957 pressing Brunswick records BL 54038. Original textured cover is G+ probably...partially taped seams and spine with clear tape (bit yellowed). Front slick pretty clean and presentable for a 63 year old record. Backside of cover has an old record store stamp in corner. Disc is also a G+....clean labels with some center hole wear. Plenty of scuffing and light scratches (a few of the more ominous looking scratches are not deep enough to feel & play thru fine). I tried to take extra pic's of the disc at various angles & lighting to catch these scuffs and scratches. Note:There appears to be spec's in some the pic's - those are dust from my camera lens. As for playback: I played thru both sides completely...strong sound and no skips (light popping and crackling between tracks). There is a very very soft tick on "Its not too late" (side 1) and "send me some lovin" (side 2). Playback overall I would grade a VG and still a nice listen especially turned up a bit. Starting at a low bid due to the condition.
