We played the hell out his record Ash Wednesday when it came out 15ish years ago & since then have always looked forward to a new record from Elvis, so, needless to say we were excited when he agreed to take some time to sign a stack just for Shake It customers! Copies are signed in black, gold or silver Sharpie.
Creation Myths is the first album in 5 years from Elvis Perkins. Produced by Sam Cohen (Kevin Morby, Danger Mouse, etc), the album in many ways picks up where his debut Ash Wednesday (XL Recordings) left off. Pitchfork wrote of that album "Elvis Perkins has emerged as an assured, fully-formed cosmopolitan able to merge readily recognizable influences with a sense of theatre."
