HERB ALPERT & THE TIJANA BRASS. HERB ALPERT was born of Jewish parents in Los Angeles, CA on 3-31-1935. He attended the University of Southern California and was part of the Trojans Marching Band for two years playing trumpet. He began his career in 1957 and continues today. HERB co-founded A&M Records with Jerry Moss. In 1973, he married Lani Hall and they have one child and live in Malibu, CA My albums are very gently used and shipped USPS Media Mail.
