Up for sale today is this copy of the Dire Straits 1980 Making Movies 12" vinyl  33 LP BSK 3480 12" vinyl 33 LP. I used Goldmine's record grading system to visually grade the condition of this album. The vinyl itself is in VG condition with scuffs and scratches. There is just one scratch at the beginning of Side One that is deep enough for me to feel. The original inner sleeve is included. The cover is in VG condition with edge, corner, and surface wear. There are also some wrinkles and a corner clipped. Remember to look closely at the pictures. I played this record and it played through nicely with some occaisonal surface noise in the quiet parts, but no skipping or repeats. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
Side One Tunnel Of Love Romeo and Juliet Skateaway
Side Two Expresso Love Hand In Hand Solid Rock Les Boys

I use Goldmine's Record Grading Guidelines to visually grade the condition of all the records that I sell. I do the best I can to be as accurate as possible. I'm only human, I'm not a professional, but I feel I grade conservatively and with my own expectations in mind.

Please keep in mind that the nature of grading records (both visually and play grading) is subjective. What I consider VG might differ from what someone else sees as VG. My expectations tend to be high. I rarely grade NM and don't use Mint.

All of my records have been stored vertically and I grade them under both natural light and a UV light. They are cleaned with a gentle soap and a soft cloth, then an anti-static brush before playing. I highly recommend using an anti-static brush every time you play a record as it really improves the sound. When I do listen to a record I'll put in the Listing Description what I heard.

Please keep in mind that I CANNOT guarantee the sound of any used record!

I wash each and every record by hand (whether they look like they need it or not) giving them a good soapy wet wash. I dry them with a nice soft cloth and bring out as much of that beautiful vinyl shine as I can.

All kinds of things can be found inside the inner sleeves to make the vinyl dirty. Static electricity is probably the worst since it attracts so many things which can include, but are not limited to, dust, dog hair, cat hair, llama hair, pigeon feathers, and other debris. Although we've never had a llama or a pigeon. These things all negatively effect the sound of vinyl records. I do have a pet friendly, non-smoking home.

When I do listen to an album I'll put in the Listing Description how it sounded to me. Remember to look closely at the pictures. The record in the picture is the record you are buying.

I listen to as many records as I can, time permitting. I like rock and I generally like it loud. If I grade a record as VG/VG+ then play it and it plays great and has very little to no surface noise, I generally go with the higher grade of VG+. I rarely grade a record as NM and never use Mint. Please allow for differences in our equipment, opinions, and our very human hearing.

Please keep in mind that I CANNOT guarantee the sound of any used record. I just can't.

All records are lovingly packed in cardboard record mailers (by me). My shipping department (my husband) sees that all items are safely put in the hands of the USPS. Items are usually shipped within one business day of cleared payment. I believe in reusing shipping supplies when possible. This doesn't always make the prettiest packages, but items are always packed securely.

Combined shipping and payments are welcome! When purchasing more than one item, please wait for an invoice from me so that you are sure to get the correct combined shipping rate.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt, but please, returned items must be in the condition they were in when I packaged them. You can contact me via messages, I check them throughout the day.
