Sergio Mendes was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 2-11-1941 and is a Brazilian musician who plays bossa nova mixed with jazz & funk. He added Brazil '66 in 1966 and was working very closely with Herb Alpert & Lani Hall and formed Brazil '66. Sergio Mendes is still active today, but his entire catalogue was loss in the 2008 Universal Studio's fire, like many, many other artist. My albums are very gently used and shipped USPS Media Mail
