The BLUE OYSTER CULT Vinyl Bundle.
SPECTRES - CLEAR BLUE LP 2018Limited blue vinyl LP pressing. Spectres is the fifth studio album by Blue Öyster Cult, originally released in November 1977. The album features one of the band's biggest hits, the concert staple "Godzilla". The cover art features Blue Öyster Cult's use of lasers in their live show at that time. Blue Öyster Cult (often abbreviated BÖC or BOC) is an American hard rock band formed on Long Island, New York, in 1967, whose most successful work includes the hard rock songs "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Godzilla" and "Burnin' for You". Blue Öyster Cult has sold over 24 million records worldwide, including seven million records in the United States alone.
ON YOUR FEET OR ON YOUR KNEESDouble translucent blue vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket includes OBI and printed inner sleeves. On Your Feet or on Your Knees is the first live album by rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released February 27, 1975 by Columbia Records. Each of the band's first three studio albums is represented by three songs, two others are covers ("I Ain't Got You, " albeit with modified lyrics, and "Born to Be Wild"), and one ("Buck's Boogie") is an original instrumental that remains a staple of the band's live shows to this day. The 12 songs include performances at the Academy of Music in New York City, the Paramount Theatre in Portland, the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, the Show Palace in Phoenix, the Long Beach Arena, the P.N.E. Coliseum in Vancouver and the Capitol Theatre in New Jersey. The album hit #22 on the Billboard 200.
FIRE OF UNKNOWN ORIGINLimited translucent blue vinyl LP pressing. Includes Culture Factory obi strip. Fire of Unknown Origin is the eighth album by hard rockers Blue Öyster Cult, originally released in 1981. It was produced by Martin Birch. The album, which included the Top 40 hit "Burnin' for You" (#1 on Billboard's Album Rock Tracks chart) represented a resurgence of the group's commercial standing after two albums with disappointing sales. Fire of Unknown Origin would be the final studio LP featuring the band's original lineup. The album continues BÖC's tendency to write quirky songs, from the title track (featuring lyrics by Patti Smith) to "Joan Crawford". Many of the songs were intended for the soundtrack of the animated film Heavy Metal. However, only the song "Veteran of the Psychic Wars", co-written by science fiction author Michael Moorcock, ended up in the film's final version and soundtrack.
