Randy was in fact Bobby Fuller’s brother, but the connection was closer than that. This is what Randy says about this recording:

“It is the original track from Bobby Fuller Four recorded at Del-Fi. Bob Keane and I recorded my voice on a separate track and remixed it a little louder than Bobby’s in the final mix.” In fact this was initially planned as a Bobby Fuller Four release but was cancelled at last minute.
