Beginning with their 1994 debut, William Aura, Craig Dobbin, and Alain Eskinasi, the trio that comprises 3rd Force, has remained at the center of smooth jazz, consistently grounded in ice-cool keyboards, an easy beat, and ample doses of sax.
But the band also understands the exotic allure of the sitar, zither, and steel drums, glimpses of which appear throughout the album, notably on "You Know My Heart" and "3rd Force (Prelude)," among others. 3RD FORCE is as genteel and danceable as an evening out on the promenade deck.
