The 8 songs included in this set were recorded by Louis Armstrong from 1927 through the 1940's and represent something of a greatest hits compilation release. Liner notes by George Avakian provide history and context of the music.

*Due to the fragile nature of 78rpm records, returns will not be accepted. Please review pictures for condition. While not graded, my personal take is that these records are in very good condition. The cover is in good condition with age related wear. In case you are new to vintage 78's, be advised that while they are thicker than more modern LPs, they are brittle. They have no bend and will snap. Do not hold 78 records by the edges!! Handle with care from the center. * Will Be packaged for Protection!!
