Big heavy deep grooved vinyl, the original and the best, it's the one to have going by the prices paid.
This variant of the Vinyl is the exact same as the one with BOBIL and RASPUTIN in the runout groove, which go for mental money... It's just the same vinyl record, same labels... And it's a fraction of the price..
The album sleeve really is a beauty! It's super clean on the back no marks or dirt, the four corners are fantastic, the spine is also in fantastic condition
The album card is still strong and unworn.
It's basically in Mint condition and compared to the usual covers of Hunky Dory it's on another planet all together...Beautiful
The Inner lyric sheet is in magic condition as well, fantastic for something over 50 years old, really clean and free of any marks or blemishes
It's a little frayed at 2 of the corners.. But really.. It could pass for mint..
Onto the record itself, the big heavy early 70's vinyl is on totally superb order!. Lovely and clean with a great gloss, with the bright orange labels.
It looks great, on closer inspection, when I put my glasses on and hold it to the light, it has a cpl of light non worrying marks, one on Changes but they don't spoil the listening experience.
I ALWAYS play my vinyl before I list it, and Hunky Dory always blows me away, this one is no different, the first press on this iconic weighty vinyl, just sounds unbelievable on my Project Turntable
I'm going to stop now before I bore you to death, but I always like to give a good detailed description of any record I sell, especially one I love like this copy of Hunky Dory...
So I'm going to give a resume for you.. If you want a superb copy of Hunky Dory at a superb price here it is, OR you could take your chance on an auction and maybe pay a wee bit less but it's a lottery.. And it won't be in the condition my copy is in.. Trust me..
Or you could go the other way and pay well over £100 pounds for a Hunky Dory with 2 extra words etched in the run-out groove, which might be better than mine.. but up for debate
Anyway if you don't buy mine I still hope you get a cracking copy of one of the best albums ever made...
PS.. But you should buy mine... Ha!
