Up for grabs is a very nice copy of "The Final Houdini Seance," recorded Halloween Night, 1936. If you're looking for a good record to play during the Halloween season, this is it!
I purchased this record sealed in 2009, opened it, and played excerpts of the seance on my college radio show's annual Halloween episode. Other than that, this record has been played in its entirety exactly twice: the day I opened it in 2009, and the day that I played it to make sure there were no skips before listing it on eBay.
This record is in extremely good condition with a very few, very minor, light scratches. These scratches do not affect the playback at all; the record hisses and pops, but this appears to originate from the 1936 recording, not the record itself. The cardboard jacket is also in great shape, with a bit of wear on the corners (see photos).
I have placed the record in a non-original inner sleeve to go inside the cardboard jacket. This will help prevent wear, as the record originally had no inner sleeve at all.
