ALEPH AT HALLUCINATORY MOUNTAIN bears more than a passing resemblance to 2004's BLACK SHIPS ATE THE SKY, replicating its abstruse lyrics and menacing folk-rock instrumentation. Thankfully, Tibbet's ear for unnerving melodies and his flair for hallucinatory imagery remain undiminished, making ALEPH a valuable addition to his catalog.
