We may have recently lost the great Steven Sondheim (1930-2021), but available here is a NM copy of a classic original Broadway cast DOUBLE LP: "Side By Side By Sondheim", a 1976 release on RCA Red Seal (CBL2/1851).  This is the UK pressing.

American Steven Sondheim was one of the most important figures in 20th-century musical theater. Sondheim has been praised for having “reinvented the American musical with shows that tackle "unexpected themes that range far beyond the genre's traditional subjects" with "music and lyrics of unprecedented complexity and sophistication".

"Side by Side by Sondheim" is a musical revue featuring the songs of Sondheim. Its title is derived from the song "Side by Side by Side" from Company. As noted, the musical is in the form of a revue, with various sections tied together by being from a particular Sondheim musical, or having a common theme, and all of it is tied together by the Narrator. He explains what show the songs are from, and in some cases provides background on why a song was written. This vinyl is in tremendous, glossy condition, NM with only one small smudgy area across the four sides. No visible scratches.  The glossy gatefold cover is in great condition, no seam splits, minor wear, clean inside and out.  All labels are clean and complete.
