Very rare original Beatles album in pretty much mint condition. This was purchased from a Beatles collectors website almost a year ago but due to the pandemic I have to unfortunately sell it. It comes in a museum quality frame (worth almost $400) that has both sides visible so you can see the back of the record also when you flip the frame over.

The vinyl itself is in incredible condition and has had extremely little use (if any) and looks almost brand new. It's a beautiful record and I'm sad to let it go. I was extremely careful handling it while I was taking the pictures. Comes from clean and smoke free home.

All the information about this record has been copied and pasted from my records on this album:

MEET THE BEATLES!
CAPITOL ST-2047 STEREO
RELEASED: 1/20/64

WEST COAST PRESSING #6 COVER.
VERY FIRST LOS ANGELES LABEL VARIATION WITH 1 "BMI" CREDITS

COVER REMAINS IN ORIGINAL 'SEARS ROEBUCK AND CO.'  DISTRIBUTOR LEVEL BAGGYWRAP.

DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE FIRST LABEL VARIATION (WITHOUT PUBLISHING CREDITS) OF THIS LP WAS SOLELY PRODUCED ON THE EAST COAST, THE SECOND LABEL (ONE "BMI" CREDIT) PRESSED IN LOS ANGELES, IS THEREFORE THE VERY FIRST PRESSING OF THE ALBUM ON THE WEST COAST. FURTHERMORE, ON PAGE 19, OF BRUCE SPIZER'S GREAT "CAPITOL ALBUMS" BOOK, HE STATES THE FACT THAT THE STEREO VARIATION OF THIS LABEL STYLE SHOULD EXIST, BUT AS OF PRESS TIME, IT WAS NOT CONFIRMED.

THIS FANTASTIC RARER WEST COAST EARLY FEBRUARY 1964 PRESSING #6 COVER, HAS "BEATLES!" IN OLIVE GREEN PRINT LETTERING, AND DOES NOT HAVE THE "PRODUCED BY GEORGE MARTIN" CREDIT PRINT ON THE BACK COVER (CAP2047.SC1A, SPIZER).

THE GORGEOUS VIBRANT COVER REMAINS IN THE ORIGINAL 'SEARS ROEBUCK AND CO.'  DISTRIBUTOR LEVEL BAGGYWRAP, WHICH ALSO HAS A 2"  ROUND RED STICKER ON THE FRONT LOWER LEFT CORNER READING "SEARS ROEBUCK AND CO." IN WHITE PRINT. THE COVER GRADES A MAGNIFICENT NEAR MINT. THE SEAMS ARE ALL FIRM, AND THERE IS NO RINGWEAR AT ALL.

THE RECORD GRADES A NEAR MINT MINUS, WITH A HIGH GLOSS TO THE VINYL. THE LABELS ARE THE "GLOSSY" EARLY WEST COAST ONE "BMI" LABELS AND GRADE NEAR MINT MINUS DISPLAYING VERY BEAUTIFULLY WITH JUST A TOUCH OF MINIMAL SPORADIC WEAR. ALSO INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL LATE 1963 / EARLY 1964 1ST ISSUE ROYAL BLUE INNER SLEEVE.

IT HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED THAT 80% OF CAPITOL'S ALBUMS WERE PRESSED ON THE EAST COAST, THEREFORE MAKING THE WEST COAST PRESSINGS OF THE FIRST THREE LABEL VARIATIONS
