This is Texas R&B singer and song writer Robert Byrd (better known as Bobby Day) singing his two-sided hits "Rock-In Robin" (# 2 chart record in 1958) and "Over And Over" (# 41 in 1958) on Class 229 from 1958. This R&B record looks and plays in NM condition and comes in a Class Records company sleeve. The picture sleeve is a custom sleeve made in Canada or England and is a one-off sleeve that is NOT mass produced. This one is in MINT condition. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeve. This copy is perfect for the serious collector!!!!  Also included are a brief biography on Bobby Day as well as an article explaining the origin of the song "Rockin Robin". Note the hyphenated spelling of "Rock-In" on the label. This is a guaranteed original pressing with delta numbers 22430 and 22431 in the dead wax - indicating manufacture in the month of May, 1958.
