Very very early 1971 release of Hunky Dory with the early heavy deep grooved vinyl.

This IS the version of Hunky Dory considered by many to be the one to have.

I've had them all and it's clear to me that the original 1971 releases sound far superior and they are built to last, big heavy slab of vinyl that lasts so well,  this copy is one of them.

. It's in superb condition and as I said earlier sounds different class, I test play all my vinyl on my Project Essential deck, there are a few bits of static and surface noise with some pops and clicks  but absolutely NO annoying jumps or sticks..  Still delivers a tremendous sound.

Vinyl is nice and glossy with near perfect labels

There are a few noticeable light sleeve removal marks on the record  Really clean looking, great sheen   but there is a bit of static surface noise noticeable on the quieter parts!

It's still a great playback, I know a good one when I hear it.

If I don't think a record is good enough, it doesn't get listed it's as simple as that..this particular copy of Hunky Dory is still very presentable especially the vinyl audio playback

The album cover is also in very good condition with just light creases AND is the CORRECT cover for the record!!

I've noticed a few misaligned Hunky Dory sales on here lately that are quite clearly not what they say they are..

This is the real deal so bid with confidence

Hunky Dory covers are difficult to find in mint condition, this copy is in above average condition and does have a bit of wear BUT the spine is still in decent condition with just a bit of wear. The rear of the cover is very nice indeed, very clean and still nice and white

But as I always say on my listing! Study the pics to decide for yourself as well

I tend to be Conservative with my listings, I'm 100% certain most people would grade any of the albums I sell, a lot higher than I do ..

So bid with confidence

Sorry for the long winded description but I feel it's important to get as much detail as possible for anyone interested.

I wouldn't buy an album with a 3 line description. Maybe works for some folk. But not me.

Don't take a chance on an over described auction sale of Hunky Dory. Buy this one.. I know a good Hunky Dory when I see one
