Black Sabbath Self Titled LP 1970 Warner Bros WS 1871 Metal Ozzy Osborne Vinyl.

Up for sale is this vintage 1970 LP of Black Sabbath’s incredible and iconic debut. A must have for fans of classic rock and heavy metal. I’ll admit that this is definitely not a perfect condition LP, but it will still provide someone with hours of listening pleasure. Here are the details:

Record Grading: G+

The LP has several light scratches and is slightly warped, but there are no skips or repeats and the warping shouldn’t affect play on most (if any) turntables. The labels have some writing and some water damage, but they are still quite readable. The LP plays with a little bit of surface noise, but it does not distract from the music much at all. This LP is quite well mastered, perfect for cranking up and rocking out!

Cover Grading: P

The worst thing about this LP is the cover. When I found it, the album slick was ripped and hanging off the cardboard sleeve. I managed to glue it back on and save it from total destruction, but the damage remains. Looks pretty good considering. I tried to show the damage the best I could in the pictures. Other than the really bad spot, the cover has the usual wear one would expect from a vintage album cover that’s been well loved. There is tape on every seem and there is some ring wear on the front and back cover.

As I mentioned, not a perfect copy, but I tried to list the imperfections to the best of my ability.

Shipping is $5.00 USPS Media Mail. We will ship the LP in a LP mailer with cardboard stiffeners. We will put the LP and cover in a clear sleeve with the LP shipped outside of the cover to prevent further cover damage.
